No matter the circumstance, we are here to ensure you can access the care and medications you need. If a natural disaster has recently impacted you, you can access additional resources below. If you have any trouble getting what you need, please do not hesitate to call us at the number on the back of your card. Our goal is to make sure you have the necessary health resources and supplies you need during this challenging time.
For members with pharmacy coverage through Optum RX:
- You can get early refills for non-controlled maintenance medications, up to a 30-day supply. If you’re running low, we encourage you to refill before a storm to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Home Delivery orders will continue to be processed for distribution. Shipping carriers may hold orders until impacted ZIP codes are cleared for shipping. If you need to have your prescription sent to an alternate address or transferred from Home Delivery to a retail pharmacy, you can call into the dedicated line at 855-811-2218 for assistance.
Telehealth Services
- If you can’t visit your doctor in person, check if they offer virtual appointments. You can also call us for help finding a doctor or scheduling care.
- You can access virtual care via Teladoc Health during a natural disaster.
- This service is available free of charge to any individual in Florida who has been impacted by the hurricane(s), and is not tied to current Teladoc Health membership, client, or health plan accounts.
- Current Teladoc Health members must use the hotline to receive services free of charge. If they contact us through their normal channels or group set-up, they will be charged the standard visit fee based on their eligibility.
